The newly inaugurated facility represents a significant step forward in strengthening Maiva Pharma’s position as a trusted global partner for pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies engaged in the development and manufacturing of generic and complex sterile injectable products.
Spread across a 22-acre site, the facility has been designed with advanced manufacturing technologies, flexible production systems, and world-class quality frameworks to meet both current and future market requirements. Once fully developed, it will house six manufacturing lines capable of producing a wide range of sterile injectable dosage forms, including vials, pre-filled syringes, cartridges, suspension products, and lyophilized formulations.
As part of its Phase 1 expansion, Maiva Pharma has commissioned three dedicated manufacturing lines, including a high-speed vial filling line, a combined pre-filled syringe and cartridge production line, and a lyophilization line. The facility is further supported by advanced chemical quality control laboratories and state-of-the-art microbiology laboratories, ensuring comprehensive in-house testing, analysis, and quality assurance capabilities.
A key highlight of the facility is its isolator-based manufacturing systems for liquid vials, pre-filled syringes, cartridges, and lyophilized vial products. This advanced technology significantly enhances sterility assurance, improves operational efficiency, and provides greater manufacturing flexibility while enabling the production of diverse injectable products for regulated global markets.
